About

Welcome to Clair Helen, where fashion becomes a canvas for
storytelling and culture. Clair Helen, a proud Indigenous designer and
artist from the Tiwi Islands, is renowned for her unique fusion of
traditional and contemporary design. As the first Indigenous graduate
from the prestigious Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney, Clair has
carved a significant path in the fashion world, drawing inspiration
from her rich heritage and childhood experiences in the Northern
Territory.

With over a decade of experience, Clair has mastered the
art of pattern making, sewing, hand embroidery, and graphic design. Her
work has graced the runways of Australian Fashion Week and Melbourne
Fashion Week.

Clair is known for creating bespoke, one-off wearable art
garments, while also offering ready-to-purchase pieces online. Each
piece reflects the shapes, colors, and stories of her homeland,
combining fashion with cultural narrative and artistry. Whether you’re
seeking a statement piece or an exclusive design, Clair Helen’s
creations offer a profound connection to both art and heritage.
